About
Your days deserve to be told, not tallied
Cendaya is a private, holistic life tracker built for Southeast Asia. It brings the four things people already track — mood, journal, meals and health vitals — into one place, and every night an AI writes the day into a short, warm journal entry. We call it your story, and it’s waiting for you each morning.
We built it because tracking apps kept turning life into accounting. Five apps, five dashboards, and at the end of the week a pile of numbers with no meaning in them. The numbers were never the point. The point was the question underneath: how am I actually doing?
A story answers that question the way a spreadsheet can’t. When yesterday is told back to you — the nasi lemak that fuelled a good morning, the short sleep, the walk that rescued the evening — you notice things. Gently, in your own language, with no red numbers and no judgment.
Yesterday found its rhythm slowly. The nasi lemak fuelled a productive morning, and that evening walk did more for you than the numbers show. You slept a little short — go gentle today.
Why build it for Southeast Asia specifically?
Because the region kept being an afterthought. Food databases that have never heard of laksa. Serving sizes calibrated to American plates. Apps that nag you to eat lunch during Ramadan. Interfaces translated late and badly, if at all.
Cendaya starts from how the region actually lives: AI meal analysis tuned for hawker food with an optional halal flag per item; fasting and vegetarian observances handled with quiet care — as practices you opt into, never a religion label; and 7 languages from day one — English, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, ไทย, Tiếng Việt, Filipino, 中文 — with the AI writing natively in yours, not translating from English.
Data stays close to home too: local-first storage on your device, with regional data residency (a Singapore hub and in-country options) under a consent model built for local privacy laws.
What we believe
Private by default. Your journal, meals, moods and vitals live on your device. Lock it with Face ID, export it as JSON, delete it all — it's yours.
Gentle beats strict. No streaks, no guilt, no red numbers. Reminders celebrate what happened instead of nagging about what didn't.
Supportive, not clinical. Cendaya is a companion, not a diagnosis. Nothing in it is medical advice — and it will tell you so, honestly.
One line is enough. The best tracker is the one that survives your busiest week. Your story starts with one line.
Where we are today
Cendaya is in beta on iOS via TestFlight, with real Apple Health data flowing into nightly stories. Android — with Health Connect as a first-class citizen, built for the mid-range phones most of the region carries — is next. It’s free during the beta, and beta testers are shaping what it becomes.
If that sounds like the kind of tracking you could live with, we’d love to have you — tonight’s dinner could be in tomorrow morning’s story.
