What food can Cendaya recognise?

Cendaya's AI meal analysis is tuned for Southeast Asian food — dishes like nasi lemak, laksa, pho, adobo, som tam, rendang and char kway teow — with hawker-portion calibration and an optional halal flag per item. You can always tap a meal to correct it.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your journal, meals, moods and vitals are stored on your device. Lock the app with Face ID or fingerprint, export your data as JSON, or delete everything locally at any time.

Is Cendaya medical advice?

No. Meal analysis and insights are informational and supportive — a gentle companion, not medical advice or diagnosis.

Which devices and health data does Cendaya support?

Cendaya reads sleep, heart rate, steps, workouts and energy burn from Apple Health on iOS, and Health Connect on Android. It's on TestFlight now; Android follows.

What languages does Cendaya support?

English, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino and Chinese — with the AI writing in your chosen language, not translating from English.

What is the nightly story?

Every night, Cendaya reads your day — what you ate, how you moved, how you felt — and writes it into a short, warm journal entry in your own language. It's waiting for you the next morning as a personal check-in before you start the day.

How much does Cendaya cost?

Cendaya is free while in beta, with every feature included. After launch there will be a free tier and an affordable premium tier priced fairly for Southeast Asia.

Do I have to log everything every day?

No. Cendaya is built around three small moments a day — snap a meal, tap your mood, jot a line. Health vitals sync on their own, and your story is written even on quiet days. Missing a day is fine; there are no streaks to break.

How do I join the beta?

Cendaya is on TestFlight for iOS. Head to the download page, leave your email, and you'll get an invite. Android with Health Connect support is next.

Does Cendaya work during Ramadan or on fasting days?

Yes. Routines and observances support fasting and vegetarian days with quiet care — your energy balance and reminders adapt, and nothing nags you to eat when you're fasting.
